Finding Yourself

It is easy to get lost,

But so much harder to find your way back.

You need to know where you started from,

To dig deep into the earth

And find your roots

That secure you to the very foundations

Of who you are.

It’s easy to ask; “Who am I?”

Much harder to convincingly answer.

To know who you really are.

It is so easy to chase life down so many rabbit holes

Of survival, safety, and security.
